Since when have pirates EVER been concerned with
legalities???? K.O. and C.P. notwithstanding...If I were you, I'd start buckling down my swash and figuring out how to swash my buckle--not to mention any other exposed parts. As for your tender behind (a friend actually named their tender "My Tender Behind")...There's nothing arcane about "marine" toilet paper...it's just VERY flimsy--so flimsy that it starts to dissolve as soon as it gets wet. So if your current choice is rubbing you the wrong way, you can use any TP--provided it passes this test: tear off a sheet and put it in a glass of water overnight. If it's still an intact, or mostly intact, sheet in the morning, keep looking. But if you stir the glass and all you see in it is "snow," you can use it aboard with no problems. I can save you some effort: confine your search to the cheapest TPs...none of the "premium" brands that advertise how strong and soft they are will pass the test, 'cuz they're all impregnated with creams for that softness, and have extra added fibers to give it the strength.
