I've just bought what I believe to be a 1970 O'day 24 Tempest. She has a small cabin, a well for outboard mounting, and an inboard rudder. How can I verify what I've bought? A picture, specs and any other help would be appreciated. Is there a resident O'day Guru out there somewhere? Fred

Tempest

Sounds like one. I own a 69 tempest and it sounds just like what you've got as far as the small cabin, engine well, inboard rudder. My sails have the "T" in a circle on them for Tempest . . . original sails I believe. I'm trying to get some pictures posted in the near future. The below site has the specs for the boat . . . Good luck.
