Cradle Prices
Lots on variation on prices depending on their need and location. Some yard insist on using them while others refuse them and charge storage fees to deal with them. Many of them get left behind here and the yard inherits them for free when vessels are sold / relocated. Folks pay $600 - $800 to have a new one fabricated here in New England. Some of the original cradles had the wood replaced improperly and now distort the hull shape during storage. Five years ago I was willing to pay 6-700 for one, couldn't find one. I had one fabricated with 7 screw jack posts on it. I suspect you'll have difficulty finding a home for a 15 year old cradle with very limited application.
