what year?

I bought a 22' a few years ago. We have enjoyed it immensley. The hull # is 5999. Is this indicative of the year it was built? If so does any one know what year? Appreciate any input, Cheers

Stephen:Look on the starboard side, just under the rub rail at the aft end of the boat. There you should find the hull number. It will be something like "CTYK5999G89". The "CTYK' may be CTYsomething, the 5999 is your hull number, and should be the number on the mainsail. The "G89" will be the month and year that it was built. The month is a code, and I think that A is for January etc. They start the next years model after June, so a "G89" would be considered a 1990 model.
