What year is the Day Sailer II based on hull id#

I am looking at a Day Sailer that I may be interested in buying. I want to know what year it is, but the only info I have is the hull id #. There is a website that has a key to hull id #'s for DS but it is not very specific (i.e. it only gives the range of id#s for DSII). Anyway, this DSII says it is hull# 3206, class# 6113 and 'Built by the O'Day Company, Fall River, MA'. Can anyone out there date this hull for me? Thanks, Erik

Day Sailer Hull Coding

Erik, I just got a Day Sailer II and the last two digits in the hull number are 73. Perhaps this means 1973? Maybe Rudy Nickerson at D

Hull ID #'s

I see you received a suggestion that the last two diget indicate year. I do not think that can be true as my last two are 39. I would also be interested in finding this info. So, if you get anything helpful, please pass it on. I just purchased an O'day. I am in the process of cleaning it up. Any suggestions on standing the mast with just one person?
