Synthetic Teflon
Paul,You want to use any synthetic teflon grease in your head. I have heard some brands mentioned here on the forum, but can't think of them right now. Doesn't really matter as you can find many of them. Your best bet is to go to a bicycle shop and ask them for it. It's pretty commonly used for bike chains, hubs, etc. I paid about $10 for a tube that was about 8-10 oz. if I remember correctly. That should last you awhile! You'll want to grease up the o-ring on the pump piston as well as the shaft seal. You'll have to take the pump apart to do this unless you have a newer Jabsco head, in which case the handle/shaft/piston assembly comes right out the top when you unscrew the cap that the handle butts up against. You'll know it by the hex shape molded into the plastic. Just unscrew it and viola!, everything you need comes right out the top.Good luck,Tim
