Thinking about buying some of these pins: which are the Ball Lok Quick Release pins for my 170. Anyone know what is the right size to fit the 170? Also, anyone have a less expensive source for them?
Hello Tim, I use this on my jib stay to furling unit, works great. I don't recall the size but if no one answerers your question as to the size by the end of the day, I will measure mine tonight and get back with you tomorrow morning with the size. As to a cheaper source, I wish I knew of one. Glenn
Tim, Which pins do you want to replace? Most are 1/4 inch, but the working lengths are different. See the attached link for some ideas. The only pin not shown on the link is the pin for the boom kicker, which was addded after the post. That pin is 1/4" by 2" (if I remember right). I have all of mine replaced with quick disconnect captive ball pins. The cost will be $20 each plus change. Many difffernt styles to choose form also. Rusty
