What size are my BATTENS ????? width

I have a 1996 Hunter 42 Passage. I am a 1000 miles away from my boat. Can anyone tell me the width of battens for my sail. 1 3/8 1/5/16 2 inches. ??????????
I need to order some and need the width. Thanks James

Battens come in various shapes and sizes. Some are flat and uniformly shaped. Some are round and tapered and still others are flat and tapered. The only way to know which are on your boat would be to see them. Even then different battens come in varying amounts of tension. One 6 foot batten may be very flexible while another of the same length may be much stiffer and a mismatched set would certainly affect sail shape.
