What Rigging Do I Need?

I recently graduated from a Catalina 22 to an S2 7.3 (24 Ft.). The boat is in wonderful condition except that it doesn't have all the rigging that I might need eg., no boom vang, no cunningham hardware, no topping lift, no fixture on the mast for a spinaker pole. I would like to get much better at sailing this coming season and would like to know what rigging I should definitely have.

Apparently this was an uninteresting question. I was hoping to find out what I really needed to optimize the sailing of the S2 7.3. I apologize but would still appreciate some guidance.

Not sure if it is uninteresting but you don't Need any thing else.

You may want the things you mentioned..

I would start with the boom vang then the Cunningham then the spin pole set up.

You can add things one at a time and learn as you go. You can learn without any of those first... Up to you...

Since you are missing the boom vang and topping lift, you may want to just jump to a solid vang or a boomkicker, like a which would also replace the topping lift. My fixed topping lift is a pain.
