What kind of winches do I have

I bought my O'day 27 last fall. It is a 75. I have no idea if the winches are original. Thay appear to be quality. The only markings on them are a crown emblem, the size 16 and the letters SS. Does anyone know the make? I want to service them and am wondering if things like pawls and springs are available.

Can you post a pic? That would really help identifying them. You could always try D & R Marine too. Rudy is kind of the "O'Day" guy. Here is their website, he can be kind of hard to get a hold of but call instead of e-mail.

I believe the crown symbol is for Merriman-Holbrook no longer in business. Would be about right for the year as they were very big back then, but then that is a foggy part of my brain so I am not 100% sure :)

I believe the Merriman Holbrook emblem is a trident, not a crown. Not sure though...

There's a listing for Merriman-Holbrook 16's here. Do these look similar?

The size is certainly appropriate for the vessel,4 x 4-1/2 inch drum.
