It used to be a sailboat, now it appears that it is a fishing boat. I can’t imagine a rudder being mounted successfully on the transom, where that big motor mount is. Looks a lot like a put down O’day.
DayDreamer's picture is of a pre 1972 O'day Mariner 19. All mariners had cabins. Their hulls were the same mold as the Rhodes 19. The O'Day 19 is a different boat and had a small cutty cabin too.19' Oday, depends on what is under the tarp but the Oday has a similar bow pulpit
That winch has a circular spot on the coaming just for it.You know I was looking for that as well, but, if you look at the track is sure is a funny angle to the winch, which leads me to believe that both may have been added somewhere along the line. How many boat of this size have winches? not many really so it is reasonable to think that they were added.
Yes, but who is to say that the mount was not added somewhere along the line. That winch has a circular spot on the coaming just for it.
Simon, the OP, lives in Texas, what is cold and wintery there doesn't hold much traction for most of the rest of us. I think he's just watching to see who gets it right. Or, he's too busy restoring yet another sailboat to resell for huge profits. If I had his energy and drive, I'd be set for life by now.

My sincerest apologies to both Simon and Writetoof. I was sure I'd read Simon's name on the OP.Simon isn't the OP. It is a person from PA who was last here 7 minutes ago.
I'm also set for life, if it doesn't last much longer, and I'm getting to the point in my life where that feels more and more like a possibilityI am set for life, as long as I don't buy anything...........![]()
Survival is it's own reward. Looks like your still kicking..if that is any type of reward
