I know what my favorite Beneteau is...the 42s7...she's a beauty. Tell me about yours. When I finally save up enough I will buy one. Looking for comments about the various Beneteau vessels and why they purchased or will one day like me buy one of my own. Thank you..

Favourite boat

Hi everyone Beneteau,s Oceanis 390 is my favourite boat I have a 1990 model up-graded for 'off shore" cruising and have found the boat to be safe and reliable The below deck,s accomodation is functional and twin heads are a bonus the only drawback is the "chart table / nav station " faceing aft I,m used to it now however you need to be aware when going on deck to remember orientation Any other 390 owner,s out there like to correspond ? please contact me at timjf@optusnet.com.au Cheers Tim

The new B44

Group : Think about this... We have a 39, 42, & then a 47 ??? What's with that ??? There's a big gap in there & I'll bet they are going to fill it soon. I'm waiting for a 44 with a 5'5" draft...2 ceterline berths, a forward facing nav station, a GREAT galley..."where the stove AND microwave can both be used at the same time", and salon berths that a person can lie down on & be comfortable. Do the Beneteau brass ever read our postings here ?? We can only hope. Regards, Paul. www.winpipe.ca

Lake sail

I have a 1996 Oceanis 281 with in-mast furling. It is the perfect boat for me because I single hand most of the time and sail handling, performance, and docking are a breeze. It has pretty much the same accomodations as the larger boats, only smaller. I thought about going bigger but I chartered a 40cc in Tortola and, although the boat was great, It was a lot more work. I'll stick with the 281. Too bad they quit making the smaller Beneteaus

Center Cockpit

I have a B-331 and I really love the way she sails. The size is great for solo sailing and I have no real complaints. Having said that, I would sure like to own a 40CC. I think that the layout is great, especially the aft cabin. Can anyone tell me how they sail?
