Kermit,
I recognized the part from having sold that style mast and boom. My first post mentioned to look at the gooseneck and Suncatcher did and verified that.
It has been a long time but here goes. Hunter used Kenyon Isomat for masts and booms for years till Z Spar appeared on the scene. I thought all the original water ballast was Z Spar but not sure on this boat being a 94 but this leads me to think this is a replacement mast. Z spar in the mid 90's purchased Kenyon Isomat with both companies laying everyone off. Only Four of Z Spar went to Charlotte to the Kenyon Isomat as z spar trying to make spars but that was a fiasco. Z Spar skipped the US leaving mfgs. and dealers in a lurch. The old folks of Kenyon Isomat came back and formed as Charleston Spar which later became Sparcraft. Rigrite can supply Sparcraft part s for Kenyon Isomat which is simply the same parts under a different name. During the time Z spar left, Hunter used Dwyer and then Charleston Spar. Later, U S spars appeared on the scene, and the last of the water ballast series were U S Spars. However, US Spars is the old Z Spar out of France. There is more to this but enough said. I knew everyone at the mast mfg. level which is why I know a lot on small boats.
