Usually, these side stay chainplates are backed up by some kind of a bracket mounted inside the cabin on the bulkhead. The side chainplates on my O'Day 222 were very similar to yours and there were "L" shaped bracket attached to them on the bulkhead. I have since changed them over to O'Day 25 chainplates. Rudy may have something all together different for your boat, or possibly the same thing in stock.

But you expected an exact duplicate piece 35 years later? Then go to a machine shop and have them make you one. I is not that hard for a small machine shop to duplicate.
On the other hand, the web site posted has a way to make a chain plate with pieces put together which is what my boat has -- that is two pieces to do the job your one piece did. And furthermore it will be stronger because as Joe pointed out it anchors inside to the bulkhead.

Understand that another piece is needed so look chain plates. Which will match cover and fit your boat?
But you say that you need two holes? Consider that is what the triangles would do.
Or you could just insure the enough of chain plate is above deck so that you can drill second hole, maybe?
What year was your boat built? And expect exact piece? Call Rudy at D&R as Joe said. Call him in late morning between 10 and 12. His is a real big operation, and he seldom answers emails. He just might have the exact piece in a box somewhere upstairs.
