Hey All

General Question here. I used to own a Coronado 25 MKII. I've also noticed that Columbia and Catalina use the MKII moniker on some of their lines. I also see that Ruger uses MK II on one of its pistols but I'm guessing that is different

Does anyone know what it stands for?

Thanks in advance.

MKII is the mark 2 or a second version or a revision of a particular model. In the case of my boat, the MKll was a totally different hull and deck design, in essence a completely different boat. Sometimes a boat manufacturer will make a change in the rig or keel and give it a different designation. This is a common practice.

Thanks Ted. That makes sense. My Coronado was the "tall rig" version.
