It's not factory so it could be anything. Physically follow the wires behind the panel. Then label it.

Or turn everything else off, then turn that one on.! :) Good luck.

Is there a trick to accessing all this wiring? The area under the sink is so small and cramped.

How about the anchor light or steaming light, won't be able to tell without the mast connected.

That is exactly why I ripped all mine out and started from scratch.
And while I was at it, I found a couple circuits that had been wired with solid wire home wiring. Some connections were pig-tailed and nothing was heat shrinked. Now every circuit is heat-shrinked, crimped connections and marine grade wiring, zip-tied into nice organized bundles and up out of the bilge and out of the way.

But no. There is probably no special trick, and probably no method to the madness at this point

It might not be connected to anything. That label looks like it came there from the factory, while the others were added by the installer because they mean something. "Aux 1 and Aux 2" look better than "Spare". A lot of aftermarket panels are labeled that way.

I don't see an anchor light or steaming light on there. I am guessing it's a light in the mast.

Stick your cell phone down in the hole and snap a few pictures of the back of the panel, maybe you can see which direction the wires go

There is another set of switches not in this picture for deck lights bilge pump etc. However after tracing and testing everything, it turns out the batteries wires were never installed correctly. I traced them and wired both batteries correctly. Now I have juice from battery one, battery two and both. I am a happy camper

Thanks to everyone. This has been a real education in getting to know my boat.

Well I don't know yet. My main concern was figuring out why the aft battery wasn't running anything. My guess is the mystery switch is for mast light. I'll try to figure it out tomorrow

I unscrew the panel and pull it out to work on it. A lot easier than trying to reach inside the sink cabinet.

I'm pulling wire this weekend on two of my boats.
One Mac 26D and the Siren 17. The Siren will be a quick and dirty job. (I will solder and heat shrink everything but I'm not going for pretty.)
Good luck!

Marty, with the same last name, PLEASE don't solder. Crimp with the proper tools and connectors and heat shrink.
