What is an Excaliber 26

I just purchased an Iona Excaliber 26 built in 1978 but I have searched the web to find specs with no luck. Two fellow sailors at Lake Mead Marina told me two different stories, one that it was built in California the other that it was built in Florida.It is very classic looking and someone said it is an off shoot from Island Packet.If anyone knows where I can get information it is very much appreciated.

I used to race an Excaliber

It was a great boat. Kind of small inside, fast, & stable. You might try researching San Francisco Bay Yacht Racing Association Excaliber 26 class records. Unless its not the boat I know. I think I remember they were built by Islander but I won't swear to it. I've never heard of Iona though.Good luck & enjoy,
