What I'm having done to my table...

This Friday I am going to pick my boat up from a friend that has been doing some work on it. The major task was removing the support from under the table and cutting the table into 2 pieces. The smaller piece, cut about 4 inches on the other side of the post (toward the larger end of the table) can now be moved up to the top of the post to be completely out of the way and thru the use of a clamp be positioned anywhere on the post to serve as a table or to drop down to the seat to make a continuous surface. The larger part of the table will be kept in the forward v-berth and can be positioned on the ledge running around the seats to make a large and comfortable sleeping area. I have not seen it yet but my friend says the inside of the 260 is now HUGE! Incidently, the table is made of 3/4 inch plywood so it should be able to easily stand a few hundred pounds sleeping on it.

Please post pics...

...when it's finished. I'm not sure I follow what you're having done, but it sounds intriguing.

OK

I am not quite sure how to do that. I do not have a web site.

I have a digital camera and routinely develope beautiful 8x11 photos. However, the resolution on the camera means that each pic is about 1.7megs. I guess I will have to turn the resolution down, take several pics and send several posts. It is hard for me to take pictures that I know will be of low quality.

On line pictures

Get a photo editing software package like Photoshop Elements or something simular. Edit the photos to 72 Dots Per Inch (DPI) and about 5x7" size. That makes the file small and you can keep the good high resolution photo for your records while sharing the smaller pictures. Brigg

table

I would also like to see pictures of the table modification. What type of clamp is used? And how does the large piece of the table rest on the remaining table piece when used for sleeping in the berth? I've been trying to figure out a similar modification for my H26.
