Still "Dead In The Water"!

Thanks Tom, found it. My mast also has a block at the top as you said.

I to am surprised how few sailboats exist here in North Dakota. Its not that we have any shortage of wind. My 25 is the largest boat on lake Ashtabula and I have only seen one other sailboat on the lake. Maybe with the price of gas more people will take up sailing.

I haven't as of yet been out. My new Nissan 6 hp outboard that I bought from Cabelas in Grand Forks is leaking gas out of the top of the carb. I am shure its a stuck float. As it is new, it don't want to void the warenty by fixing it myself. The nearest repair center is 300 miles away in Minnisota and they need to keep it, so we are talking 1200 miles for two round trips to have my new engine fixed. This has sort of taken the wind out of my sails. Haven't decided what to do as yet.

Thanks again for the info on that block. And this is a great site, the people that have responded to my questions have been very kind and helpful.

Take Care and happy sailing.
