Hatch open... Is the boom missing or just hidden behind the mast ?

Flotation make most sense since it would more likely stay upright like that.
Unless it is a bilge keeler in shallow water.

Any idea what type of boat ? I dont recognise it.

I never considered it may be floating on buoyancy foam. I just thought it was in water too shallow to sink proper.

Is it a derelict? When we sailed the Charlotte Harbor area, we often saw derelicts that would settle over time, until the gunnels were under water.

You guys have no imaginations. It is obviously one of those liveaboard boats that Florida is known for. The owner is trying to take a bath. Isn't that a trail of soap bubbles coming off the transom? Why is everyone watching? Are they hoping to see him step out naked? Please give him some privacy.

Nope! That is definitely a MacGregor V22-2. I used to own one. See pics....They are swing keel (600#) w/no through hulls below the water line. Mine had floatation foam so I'm guessing that is why it is still floating. Must have gotten holled or the cockpit drain got some trash over the drain-hole and rain got in.
