What happend to the 400

We have been wanting a 400 for some time and now it is gone.
Was it just not a popular boat, to expensive or what?

Catalina just didn't build as many of the 400's & larger boats cause their more expensive & the market for yachts this big just isn't that big. A boat that can fit in a standard 30 foot slip is a big selling point, or not.
