I'm cleaning the cabin for the first time since purchasing last week, and wondered what you folks would recommend for the interior wood. I 'm not sure if it's mahogany or teak. I was just going to use some nice spray furniture polish or Pledge, but then wondered if there was something better, maybe teak oil?
Not sure I'd use that on the interior. There's not much wood, but I'd like to protect it and make it look nice.

Lemon oil. It inhibits mold growth and smells nice too.

I'm in the same boat!

I’ve owned this boat for 22 years, the outside wood has 16 coats of clear varnish and covered with canvas for protection. I noticed last spring that the interior wood was starting to look a little funky so I used a household furniture polish to restore some look to it, years ago I used teak oil. Well, in a year’s time, it needs to be done again. The wood has a natural finish so I think to make this wood match somewhat the exterior wood I will add a couple coats of varnish to seal the surface and then the polish will work better and be much easier to apply.
