I just started on a company where we sell Hunter I want to know what you think about your boat

That's easy, the H37C. . . .

is the best boat ever made by Hunter. Might be the best "production" boat made by any builder. Just my unbiased opinion. :)

BEST VALUE

Even though there are some things we have some problems with, we do love our 320. For the money, it is definitely a great boat. We have every convenience of home on ours---we didn't skimp---we plan to live aboard 6 months of the year.

Round Two

We are now on our second new Hunter. We bought our 1991 Hunter 30T new and never once experienced any problems with it of any kind. We were so impressed with it and our dealer that we just recently bought a 2002 H380. In it we've experienced wind gusts up to 30 kts and, with the in-mast furling, I've been able to "reef" from the safety of the cockpit. All the systems were factory installed and dealer commissioned for a complete turn-key delivery. We couldn't be more satisfied. Good luck! Steve

Another Cherubini - h27

Those of us with the classic, Cherubini Hunters from 1975-1983 are a pretty enthusiastic group. From boat shows, marina talk, and this site, it sounds like the current designs deliver good value for the coastal cruising most of us do. We went to the boat show last year to try out the aft berths in the 32 foot class. The 320 was by far the most comfortable for us. Oh, and it seems to me that the arch is the only way to mount a cruising traveler. David Lady Lillie

Good History

I have had my 1980 Hunter 33 (Cherubini) for almost twenty years, living aboard for all but four years of that time. I have sailed her hard, and for considerable distances. Some things broke, and some things needed re-working. Hunter did some things very well, some not so well. But, overall, she has been a great boat and friend, and it looks like the marriage will happily continue for quite awhile longer! By the way, the problems were, for the most part, relatively manageable, and Hunter, themselves have ALWAYS been great. For example, it took them about thirty seconds to agree to supply all the materials for a blister job on a seven year old boat (that came with a one year warranty)....I was delighted and amazed at that. And, my boat has always sailed past many other brands, and, when I was sailing in the boisterous SF Bay conditions, I noticed that I always seemed to be out sailing, while other boats' owners (who were critical of Hunters) seemed to be spending time fixing theirs. Congratulations on your new job!

Three

I have had three new Hunters(240,260,290) in four years. What does that tell you! Now I thinking about a 320. Wife and I have the two-es.

First love

As dumb luck would have it a '86 Hunter 23 came to me when I first fancied myself a sailor. What a blessing! She patiently taught me to sail, and has delivered me from places I should have never ventured. I have only had this boat two years, and sail the Gulf of Mexico. Though a small boat, it's limits are only that of the imagination of the skipper, for I have sailed this "weekender" for weeklong excursions, single handed, but comfortable with two. As far as Hunter Marine, I have nothing but praise, for they have provided parts at the most reasonable of prices (once sending me lifeline grommets free of charge), and technical support for the asking. When I buy my next boat, I will only shop Hunter.

loved both of mine. . .

But you have to remember, this is a Hunter Owner site, so most of us are partial. You would get a completely different outlook from the CWBB, but I don't find any useful info there, so I don't waste my time.

My current boat...

until 5 pm tonight, was great as a day sailor. Its an '89 Hunter 28 and she preformed well for us in the day sailing role where storage and space weren't great concerns. I haven't a bad thing to say about her in along those lines. As for coastal cruising, for many personal reasons, she was too small and tight for us. we want to do more coastal cruising and a Bahamas trip and thus we're moving up to a 33.5 (this evening).
