Good History
I have had my 1980 Hunter 33 (Cherubini) for almost twenty years, living aboard for all but four years of that time. I have sailed her hard, and for considerable distances. Some things broke, and some things needed re-working. Hunter did some things very well, some not so well. But, overall, she has been a great boat and friend, and it looks like the marriage will happily continue for quite awhile longer! By the way, the problems were, for the most part, relatively manageable, and Hunter, themselves have ALWAYS been great. For example, it took them about thirty seconds to agree to supply all the materials for a blister job on a seven year old boat (that came with a one year warranty)....I was delighted and amazed at that. And, my boat has always sailed past many other brands, and, when I was sailing in the boisterous SF Bay conditions, I noticed that I always seemed to be out sailing, while other boats' owners (who were critical of Hunters) seemed to be spending time fixing theirs. Congratulations on your new job!
