What do you do with your spin sheets on the upwind leg?

I recently rigged my Hunter 34 with a spinnaker and it's great but I am still working out some of the kinks. One of those is how to store the spin sheets on the upwind leg so they are secure (won't go in the water) and easily accessed for the launch setup and then restowed out of the way after rounding the leeward mark. I would love to know what others are doing.

Take the slack out of the sheets, and tie a loose slip/overhand knot in the sheet just behind one of the turning blocks, ideally the one closest to the trimmer. Then coil/flake the loose end and stuff in a sheet bag, over a winch, or looped on the lifeline

I assume your flying symmetric do you pre rig to pole luff-foot velcro or one wrap of tape down lifelines before set ensures staying out water

Hi,

We have dedicated spin sheet winches on the boat I race on. So we pull most of the slack out and then loop the spin sheet onto the spin winch.
