I have a Nisson 5hp 2 stroke and am tired of fighting the external fuel tank sitting in the cockpit. Dose anyone have a good spot to put it on a Mac 26D. Thanks. Joe

since I have a D, I'll not say you should do a archive search.... and look to macgregor-boat.com and the macgregor web ring for the answer... -the short answer is no. the real answer is cover it with a igloo cooler with the bottom cut out... or build a nice box to go over it. or a 'bench' like I did. plenty of options.... just depends. or move it to the laz, and vent the laz. da bench.... http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/ftldiver/mac/e1bf893f.jpg

Someone made a "back porch" off the stern just big enough to hold a tank also. I like the idea. Anyone remember where that is? I sometimes stand mine up in the motor well, while motoring, as long as the pick up tube in the tank stays in fuel. Sail On.
