I am in the process of looking to buy a Hunter 32 vision, and would like to hear from other owners as far as any problems, concerns, sailing characteristics, and whether or not they would buy the same boat again.....

Check out the boat reviews

Try going to "The Boats" section from HOW Home and check out the reviews for this boat. It will probably give you all you need to know. Good luck, Jim Covey

Own one - love it

Have owned an '89 for 2 years and love it. It is not a real good racing boat as there are very few adjustments one can make to tune the mast. Love the extra space provided by the mast being forward. Gives at least 2-3 extra feet of salon space. Have had no problems other than holding tank needs replaced. Sails great - can singlehand it easily. Fractional rig has it's limitations on foresail selection - small jib. Have sailed in 20+ knots of wind, rail in the water, no reef, with no problems or concerns. Baiscally you are getting the interior of a 34 for the price of a 32 footer. Have never heard of a failure on the freestanding 'tree trunk'(mast). Sometimes I miss having all those 'wires' to grab when walking forward. I would certainly buy another one without a second thought. They are a very comfortable, well layed out boat. Good luck.

Had one for nine years. Best of many boats I have owned. If I were in that market again, would definitely repeat it. Has its share of boat stuff, but so does everything else. Good luck. RD
