I'm looking at buying a hunter sailboat tomorrow. The water line measurement is 21ft 2 inches from bow to stern...

Would that be a Hunter 22 or a hunter 25?

A Hunter 25's waterline is about 20'. It sounds like that's what you're looking at.

If you take a look at the Hull Identification Number (which you need to register the vessel) it should start with HUN. Once you get that number you can also determine what model it is too.

Where is the number on the hunters? Will it tell me the model by some of the digits?
