My plan is eventually to switch to two 6V golfcart deep cycle for the house bank, and move these to use as new start bank. but I need to get an ACR, Battery Monitor and higher amp charger before I do this.

Well, not really. Just use the BOTH position on the 1-2-B switch ONLY WHEN CHARGING until you get your ACR.

Well it's almost time.
I bought a smart charger and I've been leaving it on the when not using the boat.
Friday I used the Garmin 73 and the standard AM/FM radio for 2 hours. It took the battery from 100% to 67%.
(And yes it's a 16 y/o battery, I should call Guinness.)
I read all your postings and I've read all of it. I really appreciate it. Especially the info posted by Maine Sail.
Probably go to get one this weekend.
