What are they for ?

On a h23 does anyone know what the exposed rods are for that are on both sides of the stern. I have been using them to tie-up at the dock as there are no cleats in that area.

I attached turning blocks for my cool new asymmetrical spinnaker (that I haven't flown yet) there. I think my bimini is supposed to attach there, too. As you can probably guess, I haven't used it either.

It should read 2006. Somehow when the sever was move or changed over to the present system my date was changed and I don't see anywhere to change it.

Actually, these could have been the lift points for the deck of the boat when it was attached to the hull. There is one at the bow just like it.

Just a substitute tie position, I think - I'm guessing less expensive than cleats, and they also probably figured it was less intrusive since each is recessed.
