Made of stainless steal,as not to allow rust on hydralics

I can tell stainless a mile away, and those arent.... as with all hydraulic line caps.
stainless hydraulic fittings are specialty/custom spec'd fittings and very rare in any industry.
chromed fittings are much more common.

True very well could be chrome plated stick a magnate to it that will tell but absolutely no doubt those are hydraulic caps

I ran a google search on hydraulic hose caps and found this listed as an AC refrigerator hose caps. Does your boat have an AC or fridge?

A little larger, but they look like caps you'd take off to drain spigots.
