Looking to get a PHRF from the Chesapeake Bay YRA. Does anyone know (never thought to measure these)

1. Minimum distance from prop to the trailing edge of the keel?
2. Length of propeller shaft exposed?
3. Overlap (LP) - I think I have a 115.
3. Factory 3-bladed prop (15x9) - so is that 15" diameter with 9 pitch?

Anyone have a copy of their 310 certificate they can share?

Thanks Ray

My boat is rated 186 in Chesapeake bay, with wing keel, roller furler above deck, and fixed prop. I recall that I had some measurements wrong and they were able to give me the right numbers so I think they compare them to the builders specs. They are at phrfchesbay.com. I will try to dig up my certificate and scan it. Chances are you have either a 135% or 155% overlap on your genoa (if not you will have a harder time sailing to the rating if you only have a 110% jib on the bay). Does your jib come back to the back windows?

Fixed Prop PHRF

Here is a copy of my PHRF. I didn't have any exact measurements when I applied for the fixed prop credit. What they want to determine is if the prop is out in the open or in an aperture, and if you can turn the blades so they are hidden by the deadwood. The 310 with the OEM fixed 3 blade RH15x9 prop will qualify for 9 secs on ches bay with the exposed shaft and strut. You should be able to submit a picture if you don't have exact measurements. If you are going to race, make sure it is cleaner than this one was.:)

OMG, that is a crusty prop. Up here on the Potomac the water is fresh as we don't have near the barnacle problem. I was looking for some old posts from Witz on his transmission travails and saw this. I did get my PHRF and it is 186.
