... and where can I find them?

They look like nylon clamps for horizontal rails but everywhere I look I cannot find anything similar. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I got mine at West. I was lucky, and you might also, if you come across the ones made of stainless. I guess they were too expensive, so they switched to the nylon ones. The SS's they put on the markdown rach for $4.77 each. They had 7, but of course I needed 8 for the solar panels.

West, Defender, Sailrite, I am sure they are there, but cannot locate them. You also see them on the bottom of the swing-up rail seats.

The type in the picture are from a solar mounting kit for $109. One could get the parts and build the kit for about $30~$40. I have decided to go with Ancor Stainless Steel Cushion Clamps for my solar panel as a temporary installation for an upcoming cruise. That should work to keep the panel on the stern rail. Eventually I will make it semi-permanent with the above clamps and straps. My panel is on 50 watts so it is light enough that the temporary clamps will hold it just fine.

Thanks guys.
