What are the differences between 1990 & 1992- 30

I am looking to buy a 30'Catalina. I am looking at two boats, a 1990 and a 1992.What are the main differences between the two boats.Thank you,Paul

Walk thru transom -

Paul,I've been looking at boats in this range also and the big difference is the walk-thru transom which started during 1991. Some minor things maybe size of fuel, water or holding tanks have gotten larger a little bit larger. 91 - 92 boats seem to be harder to find due to the recession back then. Good luck!

A few 90's had WTTs too

An option starting in about 1990 (I know that it was available in the 1990 model year, but I don't know if it happened earlier) was a walk-through transom. It was not the wide stern "sugar scoop" type walk-through transom of the later ('93 } Mark III, but was the narrow Mark II transom with the "T-Shaped cockpit with a cut-out through the stern lazarette and the transom.
