while I really like the clean line, I am concerned with the 'new' clamp on deck.

I'm waiting to see what Sail and Cruising World say about it.

For a few years, I chaired a $50 sailboat race. the materials had to be worth less than $50. This would be a contender in that race if the carrier were beat up enough.

Our annual Wichita River Festival used to host an antique bathtub race. Entrants could used varied human powered propulsion systems. The Wichita State Univ engineering team would win with their bicycle driven articulating paddle wheel.
The tub had to be so far in the water and could not be blocked in front. The real fun was the creative "float' themes people came up with.
