I listed my Hunter 33.5 for sale on this site. It gets a lot of coverage and doesn't cost much. It has only been eight days, and so far I have 569 views. What I don't have is a response from anybody. No questions, no offers, nothing. You can view the link by clicking here. Tested the e-mail link and that is fine. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks.

There are always lots of lookers, but it takes a while to find an actual buyer for a boat 30+ feet. Five or six years ago we'd see boats sell in a few days, now it seems to take months to sell pretty much anything over 25'.

Too bad I'm not in the market for your boat. I looked at your ad. Very nice photography and your description makes her sound like a boat I'd LOVE to have.

When we were looking to buy a about, my First Mate and I were astounded at the extremely poor ads and excessively bad photographs. Your ad is very nice.

If I were in the market, I'd come look at her in a heartbeat. Good luck!

p.s. First Mate is originally from Upstate New York. Another reason I wish I were in the market for your boat.

Ken.......Very nice add! There is nothing wrong with it. Be patient.
Just like the housing market the boating market like most all markets and property values have been effected. It may take as long as two years to sell. So hold on the best you can.

Well written ad for a well cared for and reasonably priced boat. I see there's 13 Hunter 33.5's listed on "Yachtworld" right now in North America. Years range from 1988 @ $24,900.00 to 1993's in the $49,000.00 range. I have been told by one of our local brokers that used boats have taken quite a price beating in the last two years and that some brokers around the Pacific Northwest aren't even interested in consigning any more boats that are older than fifteen years because the market for them is so slow. Yours shines and is well presented, it should go sooner or later. Hang in there an' good luck.

Thanks to all that have answered so far. My wife and I are going to do some re-wording of the ad and take away some of the repetitious standard H33.5 items. Also, those that do not know the H33.5 might not know that there were changes in the boat design and engine size after 1992. The newer boats should be worth a bit more because of those changes even though it is the same model number.
