What a storm!

Visiting in New Bern NC this weekend and last evening, out of nowhere, one H**L of a storm came through. 80 some mile an hour winds. Trees bent sideways. Hail. Lightning like I've never seen. One small sailboat sunk on it's mooring outside the hotel.
I hope everyone faired well. Last time we were here we ran away from Irene. Maybe its us so, sorry New Bern, we're moving here in October.

We were anchored in the Piankatank River, just south of Deltaville, when the storm skirted us... as we sat in our cockpit, we were treated to a fantastic display of lightning in the distance.(We retreated below once the lightning was closer)
