What 4 million will buy

Just returned from the Newport boat show and I found the nicest sailboat I've ever been on......I read that 6 million was spent on the refit

Seems strange that a German builder would fit it with Detroit Diesel engines. Those old DD 2 strokes are simple, dependable engines,, but not too good on fuel economy. Nice that the refitters decided to salvage the vintage engines, though.

I was there on Friday too looking at all the sail boats so I'm sure we passed each other but the Sea Diamond was at the brokerage show and to get there you had to take a water shuttle, the boats there are for showing to serious buyers I was fortunate to get an invite cause a friend was there looking at some Grand Banks
