Wet compass leaked.

Got my compass back from Young's Maritime Services yesterday and reinstalled it. They billed me for replacing the fluid/seals and the LED with cable but it looks like they did more to it. The glass is crystal clear and it looks like a new compass card but maybe it's 'cause I can see it now. 
I don't use it much on our big pond but I hate it when something isn't working as it should.
PS: the clerk at UPS when I dropped it off chuckled at the address: Pick Pocket Road. I said it sounds like someplace out of 'Pirates of the Caribbean' right?
