My wife and I are currently refurbishing a 1979 Centaur and need a little info. The original mast is 31 foot and the bottom of the sail is 11'2" long. We do not have a boom and need help in getting the right one. The gooseneck is not the problem, it's the length. Please help.

If its a 1979 you may have a Griffon..? There is a key for the sail dimensions. E is the measurement of the foot of the main sail. I would guess the boom would be about 6-8" longer.
