I have an Oday 40 with a westerbeke w46.The motor starts like a champ hot or cold when on a slip or mooring. After sailing, however, when the boat has heeled over ( 10-20 degrees ) the motor is very hard to start. The fuel tank is full. I have tried clamping off the return hose after shutting the motor off to test if I'm getting air in through the return line but the problem still occurs. To get the motor going I usually jumper the lift pump to 12V and run it for a couple of minutes. I then have to crank the motor several times for about 10-20 seconds before the motor starts. Any help would be appreciated.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
