My oil pressure sensor won't stop alarming. I checked the oil, and it was just 1/2 quart low. I added 1/2 quart, but the alarm keeps sounding. Ay ideas?

Pull the wire off of the oil pressure switch with the engine off. If the alarm stops unscrew the OP switch, take it to a convenient auto parts store, and get a new one. The reason for taking it with you is to make sure you get the correct size, threads, and taper.

If the alarm doesn't stop you have a ground short in the wiring or buzzer circuit.

Tom is right about the pressure sender. You also might write down and take to the store the oil pressure pound range that is on the gauge if it is shown.

Okay. I hate how pathetic this will sound, but where is the oil pressure sensor?

My engine wiring diagram says there should be a light blue wire running from it, but I can't find a light blue wire anywhere.

Also... A follow-up question...

There is a toggle switch in the mounted on the starboard aft side of my engine compartment. Any idea what this would be for?
