Westerbeke Transmission

My 83 H34 has a Westerbeke W21 diesel... with an Owlie ATFA transmission, Model HBW50-2R.... does anyone have tech data showing the gear ratio on the transmission? A previous survey on the boat claimed 1.86:1, but the AutoProp folks state they thought the proper ratio is something like 2.02:1... any thoughts or tiebreaker thoughts would be appreciated! If you correct the spelling of your reversing gear it becomes Ol Wie which, when translated from the German becomes Oil With. The ATFA is Automatic Transmission Fluid, type A. The HBW50-2R says that it is a Hurth gear, model 50-2 (roughly 2:1 reduction). It would have a forward reduction of 2.05:1 and in reverse it would be 1.86:1.
