West Marine VHF 550 Radio

I recently boat a Catalina 22 which has installed a West Marine VHF 550 radio, but got no owners manual. Does anyone have one they are willing to copy and send or know of a place online to get the pdf for it. I'm willing to pay. Thanks!

Have you asked West Marine? Seems like they would have them for a reasonable fee.

Check with Uniden. I believe they make that radio for West Marine. I also own it and for the price, it is a great radio especially when compared to the 25 year old piece of trash I had on the boat when I acquired it.

I have the same radio. I can pickup manual from my boat this weekend and have one of the kids in the reproduction class pdf it for you. I just happended to read it from cover to cover last weekend. Sailed back from Catalina and with 7 hours of idle time on your hands anything becomes entertainment.

I had the same problem with a 500, the earlier version of that radio. I had manuals in any language BUT english.

CALL WEST MARINE. They will send you the file to print or send you a link to the file to print. Then you can print it any way you want.I always carry home pinted copies of manuals on the boat. If they get wet I just print out a new copy, and the original is safe in the file at home. If I could find it that is.
