Why me? (reply to Mr Bonney and others)

I have a suggestion to those who have problems with West Marine's credit card. Get together and write a complain to the new CEO. Perhaps mentioning that an copy of the letter could be later publisheed in a newspaper. Don't bother with boating mags - they will be afraid to publish it! For those of you in the SF Bay area, contact Channel 7's "Seven on your side" . I once had problems when I moved to MCI and they stole my 800 number which was on all my ads, bottle labels etc. I could't get through the lower minions at MCI so I went t Channel seven (by phone). They did not air anything but gave me the direct line of MCI CEO. Threats etc really worked and I had the number back the same day. You will never get anywhere dealing with minions who would likely be punished as being "messangers of bad news" that's the way it is in big corporations! I know, that's why I left that lifestyle and live as a semi-pauper doing what I love (and where I like to do it) instread! Other credit card companies don't mind people paying them off, they just rely on the fact that most people cannot!. but forcing people to be in debt is sort of dirty - don't you think! JW

This is anti-advertising

Anyone think of EMailing West Marine with this thread? It just occurred to me that this is MAJOR anti-advertising against them; if they had any conscinece whatsoever they'd take heed and correct their policy. After all we are the thinking, responsible boaters and we are making our point here on the Web... hmmm. But then that is a BIG 'if'... kind of like complaining to Wal-Mart and Home Depot about buying up the last of the good farmland in this state for new stores just down the road from their other stores....
