We chose to sell our home and all the junk we have gathered and stored the last 38 years to buy a larger boat to sail away. Wherever, and whenever we want, for the next 7 to 10 years. Well yesterday we recieved an offer and accepted it for the home and land. Hopefully it will close in a reasonable time frame. Maria has been shopping the "net" every day for a year so we always have a list of 5 to 10 boats that will fill our needs and budget. Ya, sure. We probably will go for a 37 to 42 foot cutter or cutter rigged ketch from 1978 to 1990. This process has been more exciting than asking for your first date with the girl of your dreams, but even better when she is helping with the selection. We learned so much from this site and would like to thank everyone for the advise, the ribbings, the corrections and most importantly the friendship. We will let you know how this progresses. Now for a huge yard sale and one more turn on the pond in "Speedy". Ray & Maria S/V speedy
