It's not worth repairing...replace it.

Call or e-mail Hunter--or your dealer--and order an AcuGage system, which is what Hunter is now using on their boats.

I fixed mine

John, Mine failed on my '96 H376. It has a small foam ring around a vertical column. The float contains a ring magnet, the position of which is sensed by the gauge. My magnet was not correctly sealed into the foam and it rusted. This caused the float to stick on its column. The solution was to clean the rust away with wet & dry paper round the column and then introduce some epoxy over the surface of the magnet. Been okay for the last three years. If the manufacturer had ever heard of ceramic magnets we would not have this trouble. PS I could not find a replacement unit this side of the long pond and the other gauge recommended by Peggy has a much different (bigger) panel mounting so I did not favour this approach Regards, Don

failed tank gauge

The head tank gauge has failed on my 376 also ('97) and also seems to have failed on the fuel tank (I just thought I was getting serious fuel economy until I filled the tank on a whim).
