I think that's a bit extreme. Our docks go in on Saturday. The clubhouse will obviously be closed but launch will run with reduced capacity. Dinghy dock will be established to lighten the loads and for those who wish to avoid the launch. Masks will be worn. No commissioning, parties, raftups, racing or instruction just sailing. We are further south and really haven't missed too much of the season yet. Even without a launch, I would have dinghied to my mooring. I don't see how a club could afford to go dormant for a year and survive. Most of our members are also over 60 as well, I believe each man is the captain of his own ship.
