Hi,
Has anyone used the Weld Mount system for securing wires? I am trying to secure a couple of single cables for the Victron battery monitor that I just installed, and it seemed like the AT-3 wire tie mounts would allow me to avoid drilled any holes to secure the single cable. I looked at self-adhesive mounts but the reviews weren't very good.
Thanks!

I have used old ATT/T&B mounts with either a drop or two of 5200 (permanent) or the adhesive of your choice...I do take any adhesive provided with the mounts off and apply mine directly to the mount. I use the blue painter tape to hold it until it sets.

I have some 18"x18"x2" concrete pads mounted to a large 4x8 sheet of plywood with 5200 that my kid used for lacrosse practice, still in great shape since 2004....

all the best

Pretty much all I use! The stuff is bomb proof but quite expensive. Keep your open adhesives refrigerated and DO NOT cross contaminate the two sides. Mark the cap and the tube with a Sharpie marker so it always goes back on exactly the same way it came off. Cross contamination can kick a tube pretty quickly and at $28.00 - $34.00 per tube.....

Once you build up a kit the cost then becomes the adhesive & nozzles which is not too offensive. The adhesive goes a long way if not using the Weld-Mount Studs..

The Weld-Mount studs are one of the best things I've come across in a long time. Our water heater is held to the boat with them!!! Tough stuff....

Thank you very much for the quick reply. I am new to marine wiring and I have decided that I want to imitate you guys on this forum; do it right the first time, with the right parts.

I had another electrical issue but I am too shy to ask....I want to figure out how to wire my new hour meter to my ignition switch: what gage wire would be safest? Spade connectors or solder the connection? It's a Seachoice Square Hour Meter-Black Bezel SCP-15321, being panel mounted next to the tachometer on a Hunter 356.
