Davein Likely quick i.e massive heart attack dead before you hit the floor type. So EPRIB wouldn't help, likely nothing would have saved this guy. Maybe a little less bacon, little more exercise? On the recover the body angle a tracker like InReach would have made finding the boat easy.

I made an assumption because of the radio mic on the table near by, as if he knew he was in trouble. True we don't know anything for sure, but it is not an unreasonable expectation.

Weather it was one or seven years, that is one helluva sailor. Kept sailing long after he was deceased. I want to be like that.
